The festival of Diwali is celebrating every year by the Hindu religion all over India. It falls every year in October or November, After twenty days of Dussehra. It is celebrated on the returning of Lord Rama to their Kingdom after the 14 years of exile. People of Ayodhya shown their joy and happiness by lighting the lamps in the whole kingdom.

People wear new clothes, sweets, eat delicious foods, burn crackers and share gifts. The five days celebrations of Diwali festival includes:
The first day is known as Dhanteras which is celebrated by worshipping the Goddess Lakshmi. People sing aarti, and mantras to make happy the Goddess.
The second day is known as Chhoti Diwali which is celebrated by worshipping Lord Krishna as he had killed the demon king Narkasur.
